Beverly has been weaving in her spare time since the 1970s and has discovered that her main interests are in rug making and tapestry weaving. Beverly especially enjoys making sturdy, useful rugs from fabrics others might consider "rags." wool rug photo

To the right is an example of one of Beverly's rugs woven with woolen yarns.

The rug to the left is woven in rose path with weft made from strips of bedsheets found in a thrift store.

Rag weaving and tapestry technique are combined in the bag in the photo to the right.. The bag is woven with wool rags and the outside pocket is a small tapestry.
